The Koffler Scientific Reserve at Jokers Hill is a nationally recognized site for cutting-edge research, education and public outreach in ecology and biodiversity. Located on the Oak Ridges Moraine, the Reserve’s unique diversity of habitats and species offers precious opportunities for some of this country’s leading environmental researchers to understand the profound impact of global change and expand our understanding of the natural world. Every year, hundreds of students and postdoctoral fellows come to the Reserve to work with our scientists and gain the hands-on experience with ecological systems that no university campus can offer.
