Beech bark disease and its impacts on mast production and mortality in American beech, Fagus grandifolia

Goals include (1) determining the effect of beech bark disease on mast production, and therefore the loss of food for wildlife, at the individual and stand level, (2) estimating the rate of beech tree mortality in infected stands, and (3) quantifying interannual variation in seedfall, and identifying population-level masting by F. grandifolia in Ontario
